My personal success story:

In December of 2007, I left my full time job to pursue a career as an Internet Marketing Consultant. At the time I was a Regional Sales Manager for a national consumer products company, but I had also just graduated with a 4 year degree from a state college that took me 7 years to complete part time. Armed with a Bachelors of Science in Management and Organization it was time to make my move.  Now at this time I was making really good money, but the company was taking a turn for the worst and I wanted to get out as soon as possible.

I realized the company was in trouble back in the spring of 2007, and decided to pursue other ways to make money. This is when I started to explore the internet and found hundreds of “work from home” jobs as they were called.  Almost all of them promised these outrageous claims of making hundreds or thousands of dollars per day, working at ridiculous hourly rates. For the most part I thought these claims were bogus, remember most of my career has been in sales so a snow job is pretty easy to spot.  Still I kept looking and really did not find any really good strategies for actually making money until around September 2007. 

In September I was able to take many different marketing and sales theories and mate them together to form what today is my full time job.  I started in secret, not wanting to tip my hand to my employer at the time.  The fact of the matter was that I was making good enough money to leave my full time job to pursue a career I loved.
